The Pre-Master’s in Computing program at SRH International College (Germany) is designed for international students who want to pursue a Master’s degree in Information Technology or related fields in Germany but need to strengthen their academic foundation, research skills and English proficiency before starting formal studies.
Within 1 semester (4 months), students will:
Consolidate their basic knowledge of computer science and programming,
Improve their academic research and critical thinking skills,
Develop their academic English skills (if needed),
Get acquainted with the learning and assessment styles at German universities.
After completing the program, students are eligible to enter directly into Master’s programs in IT at the SRH Universities system or partner universities in Germany.
1. Advanced English Language and Academic Skills
Develop academic writing, reading comprehension, presentation & critical thinking skills
Master postgraduate research methods and academic culture in Germany
2. Principles of Programming and Software Engineering
Learn Python programming in both basic knowledge and some advanced techniques
Complete a final module project to apply software knowledge & practice teamwork skills
3. Advanced Maths
Includes algebra, analysis, probability, statistics, matrices/vectors, differential equations, and advanced arithmetic techniques
Practice quantitative analysis in programming and business
4. German Language & Culture
German level A1 for beginners
Learn basic communication, understand German culture and how to study here
5. German Conversation (optional)
Practice listening - speaking in small groups with a tutor
Suitable for students who want to improve their ability to respond to language Germany is basically living in Germany
