The Foundation in Engineering & IT program at SRH International College equips students with the fundamental knowledge in mathematics, science, technology and academic skills needed to progress to bachelor's programs in engineering, computer science and information technology at SRH universities in Germany.
1.English Language & Academic Skills
Practice academic skills in English: listening, speaking, reading, writing
Improve research and professional presentation skills
Understand German academic culture and international learning standards
2.Critical & Creative Thinking
Improve information analysis, logical reasoning, recognize logical fallacies
Learn through discussion, group presentation and individual research / practical exercises such as Fake news
3.Maths (Advanced Mathematics)
Improve basic mathematics: algebra, probability, statistics and analysis
Prioritize building knowledge needed for Engineering or IT
4.Introduction to Programming
Introduce basic programming with Python language: syntax, flow control, functions, data structures, file manipulation, error handling
Get familiar with OOP (Object‑Oriented Programming), Git tools and build project portfolio
Focus on practical applications, problem solving Problem solving and teamwork
5.Ethics
Analyze ethical structures and think critically about ethics in engineering and technology contexts
Discuss case studies to develop situational assessment and ethical decision-making skills
6.German Language & Culture
Teach basic German, vocabulary and grammar through group activities, listening and speaking, German culture

7.German Conversation
Focus on practicing German communication in the second semester
